Designed with your whole family in mind, our Family Camps are popular for many reasons.

Take advantage of a great balance of free time and organized activities. Some of the many activities include Swimming, Miniature Golf, Shuffleboard, Climbing Wall and Horse Shoes. Or join a tournament and compete with other campers in Ping Pong, Scrabble, Foosball and more. Planned outings such as Hiking, Canoeing, Golfing and Bike Rides are also part of the week’s activities.

You may be ready for a much needed week of relaxation. GBCC is the perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful surroundings that God has so richly blessed us with. There is also opportunity to enjoy the local area and take in all that the city of Guelph has to offer. No matter what the age range or interests, your family will be sure to benefit from the wonderful fellowship of other believers, the meaningful teaching from God’s word, the fun activities, the delicious food and so much more. Date: August 6-12, 2017
Speakers: Gary McBride and Dan Smith

Gary McBride

Gary and Gloria were commended to the Lord’s work in 1981. They spent two years in Zambia followed by 27 years in Northern Ontario ministering in various assemblies and administering Northland Bible Camp. For the past eight years they have lived in St. Thomas and minister in Assemblies and at conferences around North America. They are both also involved with New Life Prison Ministry and are in fellowship at Faith Bible Chapel in London. They have two children and six grandchildren.

Dan Smith

Dan Smith is the retired Chancellor of Emmaus Bible College in Dubuque, Iowa. Dan grew up on a farm in Missouri. Dan has worked as teaching faculty and in several administrative positions (including President for 25 years) at Emmaus Bible College for more than 50 years. He has served in pastoral work as an elder in two churches – one in Chicago and one in Dubuque – for 40 years. His ministries include youth work, Church and Conference preaching, Biblical Counseling, consultation in Pastoral Theology, and Life Coaching. He has written and published numerous articles and has published two books: God’s Blueprint for Your Marriage, ECS Press; How to Lead a Child to Christ, Moody Press. He currently serves the community where he lives in Dubuque, Iowa, as a law enforcement chaplain. Dan is a family man; he and his wife, Martha, have three adult children and eight grandchildren.

Speakers: Bill Yuille and Bob Johnston

Bill Yuille

Bill and Naomi were married in 1964 and immigrated to Canada that same year. They have two daughters and a son and nine grandchildren. Bill worked in information systems with Ontario Hydro in Toronto. In 1993 he took an offer of early retirement. In 1975 he became a member of MSC Canada, a service group which encourages and supports assembly commended workers with an emphasis on foreign missions. He was President for 25 years and continued as Vice-President until 2015. He is active in Bible teaching at Mt. Albert Bible Chapel and elsewhere. He wrote two books: The Faith Saves, (Studies in the book of James), and God in Us, (the person and work of the Holy Spirit).

Bob Johnston

Bob is a licensed Christian professional counsellor in Michigan. Bob and his wife Sharon were missionaries to Newfoundland for 10 years and for the last several decades he has ministered to assemblies in Michigan and Ontario.

Family C

Date: August 20-26, 2017
Speaker: Steve Price

Steve and Janet live in the Kansas City area and attend the Bible Chapel of Shawnee. They have been in that Assembly for over 25 years. Currently, Steve serves as an elder and has a passion for training faithful individuals to carry on the work of the Lord. They host bi-annual Discipleship Conferences for intensive Bible study and training. Steve travels to other Assemblies or conferences and has the joy of traveling overseas in these same capacities. Janet likewise serves the Lord in managing their family of nine, (and two grandsons), with their oldest two now married. Janet serves alongside Steve and on occasion has been asked to share at ladies gatherings. Their first love is the Lord and they rejoice in serving Him. The Scripture for their lives is Joshua 24:15 – “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
