Born in Uganda to missionary parents in 1970, Rebecca Bohner is a women’s Bible teacher, a caregiver to her widowed mother, a butler to two spoiled cats, and a bestselling fantasy author for ages 10 and up under her pen name of R.J. Anderson.
Ruth can already see in her mind’s eye cherished faces forever associated with Guelph Conference. She is eagerly looking forward, Lord willing, to being with us in April when the daffodils will be in full bloom along the hedgerows of Ontario. Ruth is retired from the university classroom but continues to teach a weekly Bible class on the Gospel narratives.
Our world is clearly suffering deeply and we face our own trials. Surely the focus on “the joy set before Him” will comfort weary hearts and fortify weak knees. To that end, Rebecca and Ruth unite in anticipation of God’s blessing on the conference.

with Barb MacDougall
What does it mean to “trust the Lord” when you are overwhelmed with grief or anger or pain? There are no easy answers to enduring and moving forward, but God’s Word reveals the pathway to a willing listener.

Do you schedule regular medical checkups? Or do you tend to postpone them until a health issue becomes serious? An examination can alert us to dangers we don’t know exist. It can also provide a sense of relief when we are given a clean bill of health. Come and discover the benefits and blessings of self-examination.
